Pre-Fall 2010 Runway Trends

The Pre-Fall runway shows are not the most popular or largest runway shows of the year, and only a select few designers even present for Pre-Fall. But, the designers who do participate are part of the biggest design houses and carry a lot of weight as far as trend influence goes. Here are a few fun shoe related trends that we noticed grazing the runways for Pre-Fall 2010.

One trend that seems to be prevalent regardless of the designer is red. This is great news in Razorback territory! There will be a TON of fashionable red everywhere this fall. Short booties are nothing new, but the open toe look has taken a while to catch on. We have some incredible open toe booties in for fall. Check out our Voodoo by Mojo Moxy that was recently featured as the Shoe of the Week.

We LOVE bright colors, and we are definitely not in a shortage for bright pumps or flats here at Solemates! The black tights really make the color of the shoe pop, but this could be a difficult one to pull off. What do you think about this trend?
