Sole Stories

One of our most important goals is to satisfy your need for uniquely fabulous shoes. We do that by carrying a variety of expertly designed shoes with incredible details, and sometimes this includes even the soles.

The trend of including the sole in the design of the shoe started with genius designer, Mr. Christian Louboutin. I'm sure you've seen the Kardashian sisters strutting around in these red soled platforms, and celebrities on every red carpet are sure to be donning Louboutin's. It has turned into a fashion phenomenon on the runways and red carpets and has trickled down to ready to wear.

Chinese Laundry: Heart Beat

This lace bootie is to die for! I will be so sad if these don't end up in my closet! If you have been following this blog for very long, you know how much I love lace! These black booties are so versatile. Pair them with anything you would wear a normal black pump with to add some texture and an edgy, but feminine touch.

Nicole: Aboard

January is usually the coldest month of the year. These boots will keep you nice and warm. I love the rich suede, the ruching over the foot and the cute little tie at the back. You will notice in the view of the sole that these boots have great tread which is great for walking around on those icy days.

Style Your Jeans Like a Celebrity

Celebrities are the fashion leaders of the world and have the most influence when it comes to setting trends. Not only are they always in the spotlight, but they also have access to the hottest designers and an inside scoop on the newest trends. They are dressed by experts and professional stylists, so why wouldn't we want to follow their lead! Here are some tips for styling your jeans like a celebrity with some of our shoes!

Tall Boots
Claudia Schiffer, pictured here at the Chanel Spring 2011 fashion show, pairs super dark skinny jeans with over the knee tan boots, a striped sweater and Chanel accessories. The look is effortless and easy to pull off. Style your jeans like Claudia with these tan over the knee boots from Nicole.

Strong-Shoulder Jacket

Zoe Saldana dresses up her jeans with a bold jacket, white tee and platform pumps. I love her pink and diamond accessories, too. It really keeps the otherwise simple look stay interesting and fun. I love, love, love these gray pleated silk platform pumps from Naughty Monkey. They are the perfect shoe to add formality to your wardrobe.

Statement Shoes

The world has been taking fashion queues from Sarah Jessica Parker for years now with her roles in the Sex and the City films and TV series. She is known for dressing with the utmost taste and style. Here she is outfitted in a designer black blazer, asymmetric gray top, charcoal skinny jeans, fedora and statement shoes. You can pull this look off easily with hot pink Betsey Johnson pumps.

Lace Top

January Jones looks vintage chic in this lace top, skinny jeans and black flats. This is another look that is not hard to master. All that you need is the right accessories and these adorable black studded and sequined flats.

Pile on the Necklaces

Joy Bryant keeps her look simple with a white tee, ruffled jacket and simple clutch. She dresses it up by layering her necklaces. I love this with these gorgeous black satin booties and a wide leg jean. There are just enough jewels to add some sparkle when you walk without over-doing it.

Layer Chunky Knits

Ella Macpherson pulls this cozy look together by layering chunky knits with a scarf, skinny jeans and gold glitter belt. I LOVE this outfit so much! Penny Loves Kenny makes the most comfortable flats with the softest leather and the cutest details. These gold grommet flats are the perfect finishing touch to your knit layers.

Add Sparkle

Molly Sims really adds the glam factor to her jeans with sparkles! Pair a blazer with some slightly washed jeans, a sequined top and some glitzy jewelry to steal her style. Mistletoe Kisses is the perfect shoe to wear with skinny jeans because it allows for the whole shoe to be seen. I love it!

2011 Color Trends

We are continuing trends for 2011 with this week's post! It's so exciting to see the new trends after hours of clicking through runway photos and then getting to share them with you. This post is especially exciting for me because I am in love with color! Color is one of the most important design elements because it is usually the first thing you notice. It's enticing and vibrant, and sometimes it's the only element that draws you to a product. Ready or not, spring is right around the corner! Scroll down to see some reveals of spring shoes we have on order, too!

Color TR11: Pink

Color TR11: Pink ins

I love pink! It has been my favorite color since I was a little girl, and it has never changed! Pink is one of those colors that brings brightness and happiness to everyone! It's hard to wear this color and be depressed. These pink and turquoise pumps from Poetic Licence are the perfect shoe to add some pink and cheer to your spring.

Color TR11: Orange

Color TR11: Orange Ins

The orange this spring ranges from light corals to burnt orange. I love orange with this rusty tan cognac. It makes the color seem more grown up and sophisticated. These Nicole wedges are coming soon! I will keep you updated.

Color TR11: Yellow

Color TR11: Yellow

Yellow is another color that is all about bringing cheer! I love the almost neon yellow as well as the golden shades. Yellow looks fabulous with gray and black. These adorable printed flats from Poetic Licence are on order. You have to come see them for yourself! The bow is so unique.

Color TR11: Blue

Color TR11: Blue Ins

This spring, you can get by with just about any shade of blue from turquoise to Navy to periwinkle. Denim as a fabric is another big trend for fall, so you will be seeing lots of chambray in several different shades of blue. This blue boot from Nicole is so fabulous! As you can see in the runway photos, similar boots in this shade were seen on the spring runways.

Color TR11: Earth

Color TR11: Earth Ins

Warm earth tones are some of the most beautiful colors! By combining these with the cooler colors of spring, you can create a very rich look. These tones also look great combined together. I love these detailed brown boots from Naughty Monkey!
