Fashion Highlights of 2010
Another year has come and gone, and we have seen a lot of firsts and shocking moments in the world of fashion. Here is a glimpse of the year with photos of the best dressed, the most outrageous and the most shocking makeovers.
BEST DRESSED
Kate Middleton might be 2010's luckiest lady! Prince William's new fiancee always looks princess perfect in the spotlight, and her hat obsession is so classy and fun!
Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is haute onscreen and off. She is often seen mixing prints and carrying an oversized purse.
It has been quite the year for Harry Potter actress Emma Watson. From being the highest paid actress in Hollywood to the completion of the Harry Potter films, she is always fresh and polished.
Diane Kruger, known for her roles in National Treasure and Fringe knows her designers and puts them to good use. She is often seen in Lanvin and other straight off-the-runway ensembles.
Jessica Alba has been busy this year with her new baby and the premiere of her newest movie, Little Fockers. She is the perfect combination of sexy and conservative.
Socialite Oliva Palermo is on every exclusive party's guest list. She dresses to impress and does not disappoint.
The second season of Glee has brought increased popularity to actress Lea Michele. She is always stunning on the red carpet and makes good use of color.
Rihanna is another celebrity known for snatching outfits right off the runway. She has her own distinct style, but usually pulls it all together in the end.
Sex and the City 2 was one of the most anticipated movies this year, and Sarah Jessica Parker has turned up the style even more.
Blake Lively is everywhere with her show Gossip Girl, and we can expect much more of her through 2011 with the premiere of her newest movie, Green Lantern.
MOST OUTRAGEOUS
Oh Lady Gaga and the meat dress! It has been the discussion topic of many this past year and PETA had a fit. I can't wait to see what's next with her.
Singer/Rapper Nicki Minaj is so eccentric and her clothing choices are no exception.
Ke$ha is absolutely ridiculous from her sing/talk songs to her wild fashion choices. She really turned heads when she showed up in a trash bag dress at the MTV Movie Awards.
Katy Perry is known for her gorgeous vintage glamor style, but every now and then, she throws in some real shockers! This past year she donned electric blue locks, nails with her fiancee tattooed on them and a light-up, glow in the dark evening gown.
Rihanna may have made the best dressed list, but she is a little crazy at times.
Whoa, Christina! That strategically placed LED heart is not very flattering.
MOST SHOCKING MAKEOVERS
The Hills Heidi Montag shocked the world with the reveal of 10 new plastic surgery operations. She had a mini brow lift, Botox in her forehead, nose job, fat injections in cheeks and lips, chin reduction, neck liposuction, ears pinned back, breast augmentation (DDD), liposuction on waist, hips, inner and outer thighs, and buttocks augmentation.
Kelly Osbourne also revealed a new body this year. She claims that it was her participation on Dancing With the Stars that helped her get down to a size 2. She looks great!

Nicole: Muster
Christmas is here! I can't believe how fast the year has gone by! On this Eve of Christmas Eve, come buy yourself a pair of these boots! I just got them, and I have already worn them twice! They look so chic with tucked in jeans, with a dress and tights and folded down or up over the knee. The leather is soft and gives easily, and these boots are no exception to Nicole's high standard of quality. The heel is also a comfortable height, and there is a small concealed platform. I also love the tie and tassels at the back. Love these!
I have already worn these twice, but I am dreaming of sweet country florals with jeggings and chunky sweaters with lace tights to pair with mine! It makes them feel home-y and comfortable, but still hot!
